Another Page for the Calendar classes

Ok, so this is obviously the December page! I am having such fun coming up with these layouts! Its great to be using some of the new things from the Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue. Like the Bigshot!! Gotta love that little machine. If you haven't seen the catalogue yet, click on the image in the right hand column to view it. There are some gorgeous goodies in it.

If you are interested in doing this class, time is running out to book your seat. Details are in the right hand column and seats are filling fast.

ESAD Scrapbooking Challenge

Over the last weekend ESAD has been running a myriad of challenges for those of us that couldn't make it to the Stampin' Up! Convention in Sydney.
On Sunday, the scrapbooking challenge was to follow a layout. I did this using the Sweet Nothings Simply Scrapin' Kit (found on page 138 of the IB&C). This was all made possible by my bestie 'Kim' who kindly donated alot of DSP that she wasn't using...

I have scraped this photo of Maisy before, and so have all my sisters! I just love it - its such a natural candid photo captured by my sister Robyn at mum and dads farm. She was having a ball splashing with her cousin Lleyton and Nanny! I am very happy with this one! Too cute Maisy baby xxx

8x8" layout for Calendar Class

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share one of the twelve layouts I have come up with for the upcoming Calendar Classes.

We will be doing two layouts per class and one class per month between June and December! This way it will be ready to hang by the New Year.

If you are interested in joining in the fun, you need to book your seat and prepay for your calendar by June 9. The first class will be June 16 starting at 10am at my house. Costs involved are listed in the Class Dates & Times in the right hand column. I hope to hear from you soon xx

TCR #5/SAM Callenge #9

Time for a challenge.... or two as this one may be! The lovely girls at Stampamemory have set a challenge to use a photo that you have altered in some way, (showing the original photo as well). The photo I have used is actually a favourite recent photo of my daughter Molly. I didn't need to alter it for any other reason than wanting to 'shabby' it up! So, I have printed it onto canvas and changed it to black and white.

The other half of this challenge was set by a wonderful site called The Color Room. You have to check out the talent that oozes from every person on this site!! It is awe-inspiring!! Below is the colour challenge and also the sketch they have set for this week.

Well, here is my entry, I hope you like it.

The next photo is a close up of the gorgeous flowers...

This photo is to try and show you the photo on canvas paper...

Card Stock: Very Vanilla
DSP: Bella Bleu (various scraps from scrap bag)
