Christmas Page for 8' x 8' Calendar

Hi everyone...
Well better late then never they always say. We have been staring at a blank page on the calendar for the last 10 days, so thought I had better remedy that!

Inspiration for this page again came from my good friend Kim. (she's got talent oozing from every pore!) She decorated a HUGE tag with the same style as I have used on this page. You can click on her link to the right and look at the tag and some other beautiful creations.

I hope you like this one as I am very please with it. I have used the Dashing DSP, Very Vanilla & Real Red card stock, Baroque Motifs, Polka Dots & Petals stamp sets, Old Olive, River Rock & Real Red inks, Silver Hodgepodge, Mellow Moss Taffeta ribbon and Crystal Effects. Wow that was quiet a few products - but boy oh boy it was fun!

Mini Launch

WOW! What a creative team of Demonstrators I am in. Some of the projects that were made were just fantastic!
Silly me forgot the camera or I would have taken photos to show you all... sorry.
A huge thank you to the ladies at my table - Kim, Darleen, Joy and Therese - for coming along and supporting me. It was great to have you there and glad you enjoyed the projects I had for you.
The new Chunky Sprinkles used on the Love Note Box were a huge hit. We attatched the Sprinkles with the Pop up Glue Dots, which a lot of the Demonstrators in my team hadn't used before - they were all very impressed! (picture of the Love Note Box can be found in an earlier post of the same name!)
Must go and find some things to teach!! No not at this time of morning - need to feed the kids more like it or they'll fade away! NOT - but they think so!!!

Mini Evening Bag!

Isn't it the cutest little thing!! We are making this at the launch on Friday night. I have used one little flower stamp from the Eastern Blooms set in the Mini, White Embossing pwdr, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Black Eyelets, 1 1/4" circle, Scallop circle punch and the Black Journaling pen. It is a very simple and very cute design I found on Mel Stampz blogsite (in amongst 100's of other little purse designs). It could of course be made in any colour and used as a gift bag for jewellery or chocolates or lollies or what ever little thing you like. Every girl needs a little evening bag, don't you think??

More Mini Creations!

Another card using the Embrace Life stamp set and Ginger Blossom DSP. And to finish it off I have used a label holder from the New Hodgepodge Hardware in silver (I love the silver!!) The sentiment is from the Occasional Greetings set in the IB&C.

Embrace Life

Here is another card made with goodies from the Summer Mini. This one is using a set called Embrace Life. I have tried to go for an Oriental look... what do you think. Its very simple - but I like it that way! The large flower is stamped onto Ginger Blossom DSP also from the Mini.

Love Note Box

This little box is a project we are doing at the Mini Launch! Its made using the beautiful Designer Series Papers called Bali Breeze and co-ordinating card stock. Stamped with a flower from the Friendly Flowers set and decorated with the new 1" Double Stitched ribbon and Chunky Glitter! We will be making some Love note cards to go inside as well!

Friendly Flowers

This is actually a fridge magnet calendar that I have made using a new Summer Mini set called Friendly Flowers. Using 3 different sized circle punches and the Scallop circle punch to create the flowers and the corner rounder punch to scallop the outside edge! Hope you like it!

Live Your Dream

This page and card have been made using one of the new stamps from the Summer Mini called Live Your Dream and co-ordinating Designer Series Papers called Afternnon Tea. Sorry about the poor photography - can never quiet get the right light happening. (if you click on the images above they will appear larger to see the detail and words) Hope you can see the detail in them as they are very nice.... I have also used the new Scallop Edge punch and the Scallop Square punch also found in the Summer Mini - nice!!

Scrap Time!

Hi everyone!

I just had to share this page I have finally finished. We recently went on a family holiday - camping for three weeks around various parts of Australia. We had major car problems on day 4 of our trip and didn't make our goal destination (my sisters place in Katherine Gorge - sorry again Bernie xx). After a few tears and tantrums, we managed to have a nice time and see lots of places we never would have seen otherwise. My hubby, Andrew, had never been to Byron Bay before, so that was a must see for him. He takes some fantastic photos and as soon as I saw this one - just knew it was going to be 'scraped'... I am very happy with the end result - hope you like too.
Much of this layout is thanks to my great friend Kim, who started it and then didn't like it... I fell in love with it and knew straight away what I was going to do with it. So, a huge thankyou to you Kim for starting me off on this my now favourite page!!

Gift Certificates for Christmas or Birthdays

Hi everyone
Just a note to let you know that I have Gift Certificates available for purchase. These are a great idea for hubbies who are stuck for what to get you chrissy!! All they have to do is add a dollar value and then you get to choose all the goodies yourself! Doesn't that sound good!

Of course they are always a great gift for Birthdays to, we all have friends who are into Stampin' Up and can't always afford to get what they want - so what a nice gift for them!

Feel free to contact via email, phone or in person to arrange one.

Fridge Magnet Calendars

As you can see by the picture, these are quite small. But as they say 'good things come in small packages'... They will make great presents for the kids teachers at the end of the year! If you are interested in making some of these little beauties, see the 'Classes' section on the right side of this blog.

Pumpkin Pie & Purely Pomegranate - Yum!

Wow! You just gotta love these two colours together!! With this card I have used the Rock n' Roll technique on the big daisy from the Looks like Spring set (thanks Tiffany). You have to give this technique a try - its so effective. And the squiggles around the outside are an idea I got from Makeesha Byl. Definately a blog to check out - she is soooo good.

Christmas Card & Gift Card Wallet

Well, here its - my first official post of a creation!
Some of you have already seen and made this card in a class - but for everyone else, here goes...

I have a love of the In Colours this year - so much so that I really don't ever want them to change!! I have used Purely Pomegranate and Certainly Celery (my other fav) and Whisper White card stock. A small piece of DS paper in Certainly Celery. Matching inks of course... The stamp sets used are One of a Kind (from the Spring Mini) and Short & Sweet. Punches used are the the Scallop Circle, Round Tab, 1 3/8 & 1 1/4 circles and the Corner Rounder. Last but not least the Certainly Celery Grosgrain ribbon. I hope you like them!
