Launch Fun!

Well, as promised - below are photos of the projects we made at the 09/10 IB&C Launch. I need to start by thanking all the wonderful girls who came along and made the afternnon lots of fun - so a huge thankyou to Tiffany, Kirstie, Darleen, Therese, Joy and Kirsten.
I focused on one new stamp set this time called 'Good Friend' from the New Catalogue. Its a two step stamping set - which simply means - you can stamp more than one stamp, one after the other to make a picture. For instance the birds head/body, the beak and the legs are three seperate stamps! Its great fun and made very easy with the Stamp-a-ma-jig! A great little tool which allows you to position stamps exactly where you want them. The girls who hadn't used it before were very impressed.
I also used the new In Colors for the projects.... I know, I know - get to the photos already!
Ok first up is the three projects....

Below is the card using Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White card stock. As we couldn't preorder the new 1/4" Choc Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, I dyed some white grosgrain with the Choc Chip reinker. It actually came out matching the Close to Cocoa card stock perfectly!!! This is a window card which I found the instructions for on Split Coast Stampers website.

Next is the little Easter Wishes Box. We used Tangarine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White card stock for this one. The Sentiment is from the Occassional Greetings set. The old favourite punches I love, Scallop cirle, 3/8" circle and the Word window punch for the handle (which I forgot to take to the launch - sorry girls).

Last but not least is the 8" x 8" scrap layout. We used Kraft, Baja Breeze, Choc Chip and Whisper White card stock. Versamark, Baja Breeze and Choc Chip ink. The photo features two of my children provong they really do adore each other! Mitchell, almost 11! and Mae, nearly two!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing these projects. If you are interested in seeing a copy of the New IB&C don't hesitate to contact me. My email address can be found in the column to the right.
